What if we didn’t do one project, but gave employees the opportunity to choose? This is exactly the idea that Credit Agricole came up with.
Client’s needs
The request for proposal from Credit Agricole immediately interested us strongly, so we arranged a phone call to find out the details.
To celebrate the holidays, Credit Agricole Bank wanted to give its employees sweatshirts and company socks – 245 sweatshirts and 245 pairs of socks.. The client wanted each employee, to be able to choose personalization, i.e. a specific model and color of clothing that would best suit their taste. Therefore, as many as a dozen variants of clothing were to be created.
This was something new for us. Usually customers opt for one logo, and here we have as many as 6! Of course, this only encouraged us to take up the challenge, and we immediately began taking action.
Final design
We prepared a quote within one day. Then, according to the client’s needs, our graphic designers developed as many as 6 different graphics to fit the three selected sweatshirt models. So there were as many as 18 combinations to choose from, not to mention the color of the fabric! Even before the project was approved, the client received demonstration products from us that met his expectations and we were able to continue the whole process.
We printed the sweatshirts using one of the most durable decoration methods, screen printing. We placed the logo on the chest on the left side and decided that it was best to have it black on the pink sweatshirt, while white on the others. In this project, we used red material for the first time, and it will become a permanent feature.
In turn, we made the socks in two variants. Blue with print in large bank logos and black with print in small logos.
It took us a week to prepare the project. With the visualizations ready, we created a platform where you could decide on a particular option. In order for employees to choose their favorite sweatshirt, the bank gave them special vouchers with a link leading to our store.
As one might expect, collecting orders from such a large number of takers, even with the help of a convenient platform, was not easy. However, thanks to the cooperation of the coordinators on the client side with our team, we were finally able to register all the orders and start sewing and printing.
Despite the large volume and multitude of designs, it took us only a calendar month to produce the sweatshirts and socks.
This time we also handled the packaging and delivery of gifts directly to employees, which equals up to 245 individual shipments! A real logistical undertaking.
Collaboration results
We were very pleased with the production results. Minimalist design of projects is our favorite aesthetic. We are also happy to see that the new color in our range is performing so well.
The employees and the bank were so delighted with the gifts that they decided to order more items! This time they focused on the summer must-have, i.e. workopleacs and baseball caps.
